After more than twenty years behind the chair, Niki had been to some of the finest beaches in the world. The water didn't just clean hair — it transformed it. Body, texture, and a natural wave that no styling product had ever managed to replicate. So she started doing something simple: she brought the water home.
She applied it to her clients' hair. The results were exactly what she'd seen on the beach — real texture, real volume, nothing artificial. The water was doing the work.
Why location matters.
Not all ocean water is the same. The minerals, the salinity, the composition — it all varies by coastline, and those differences show up in your hair.
Hawaii's Pacific water is naturally low in salinity — lighter on hair, perfect for fine strands that go limp under too much weight. Grand Cayman's Caribbean water is higher in mineral concentration — stronger hold, more definition, built for thick and coarse hair. Gulf Coast water from Florida's 30A has a balanced mineral profile — medium hold, effortless waves, the most versatile of the three.
